The Swedo-Japanese manufacturer have thought of merging the power of Android platform with the Walkman capabilities to come up with an all new product Sony Ericsson W8 with more or less similar looks to their Xperia X8 smart phone and is expected to be launched soon in the mobile market. The only difference between the two Sony Ericsson products is that X8 is related to Xperia series while W8 will be coming up as an advantageous aspect to the Walkman series.
Sony Ericsson W8 is expected to provide a more colorful aspect with Azure, Orange and Red colors on board. Working on Android 2.1 platform with powerful 600 MHz processor, most of the technical specifications of the gadget is also similar to that of Xperia X8. Besides, the TimeScape interface will also be present with the advanced Walkman series gadget along with the inclusion of 3.2 mega pixel snapper for mediocre quality images and videos.
